Combining Practicality with Imagination

My two core beliefs behind learning music and instrumental pedagogy can be summarized as the following:

  • Less is more

  • Musicality and technicality are not separate entities

  • Playing cello well requires sounding good and feeling good!

Over a Decade of Teaching Experience

I have worked with students from age 5 to 65, from brand new beginners to advanced, university music majors. I know that every student is different and requires a special approach, and I will be happy to work with you on your goals as a cellist and musician. I can teach in-person for local students and have a good audio setup for teaching remote lessons over Zoom.
